Art To Wear Too reflects the new concept of mixing art wear with art wares. Marilyn Heberling, the owner, has brought in unique clothing from a variety of designers such as Art of Cloth, Comfy, Yasuko, Niche, and Meg Staley. Most of the unusual accessories and jewelry are made by area artists. Soft sculptures by Michelle Cliffton, comic dolls by artist Cate Whittemore, reissued pottery and metal wear pieces by Russel Wright are all now available in the store. The store also features nature inspired pottery by Judith Rose including delightful teapots that use Hudson River driftwood as handles. Colorful, organic paintings by local artist Imogene Drummond and photographs by NYC photographer, Mindy Veissid, are also displayed in the store.
Art To Wear Too combines a variety of unusual clothing and art pieces for every body and every price range.
